The Flavours

Your cake needs to taste as good as it looks. My recipes are tried and tested, to make sure your guests enjoy eating your cake as much as looking at it. 

Local ingredients are used wherever possible, with free range eggs, real butter and luxurious Belgium chocolate. 

Each cake consists of 4 layers of sponge, filled with buttercream and complimenting conserve. Fondant cakes and then encased in white chocolate ganache and Couture fondant for a smooth finish. Fruit cakes are covered with marzipan and then fondant. 

My Kitchen is registered with Swindon Council, and has been awarded a 5* Food Hygiene Rating.

Vanilla

Light vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry or raspberry conserve

Raspberry & White Chocolate

White chocolate sponge, with raspberry conserve, fresh raspberries and white chocolate buttercream

Plum & Hazelnut Praline

Hazelnut sponge, with plum conserve, crushed praline and white chocolate buttercream

Cherry and Almond

Moist almond sponge, layered with cherry conserve and almond buttercream

Lemon

Lemon drizzle sponge layered with lemon curd and lemon buttercream

St Clements

Lemon and orange drizzle sponge, layered with lemon and orange curd, and lemon and orange buttercream

Lemon and Elderflower

Lemon drizzle sponge layered with lemon curd and elderflower buttercream

Earl Grey and Lemon

Earl grey sponge layered with lemon buttercream

Chocolate and Salted Caramel

Rich chocolate sponge layered with salted caramel buttercream and salted caramel sauce

Chocolate Orange

Rich chocolate sponge layered with chocolate orange buttercream and orange curd

Chocolate 

Rich chocolate sponge layered with your choice of dark, milk or white chocolate buttercream

Chocolate and Peanut Butter

Rich chocolate sponge layered with peanut butter buttercream

Chocolate and Peppermint

Rich chocolate sponge layered with peppermint buttercream

Chocolate and Coconut

Rich chocolate sponge layered with alternate layers of coconut Bounty style filling and coconut buttercream

Chocolate and Salted Caramel

Rich chocolate sponge layered with salted caramel buttercream and salted caramel sauce

Oreo

Oreo sponge filled with Oreo buttercream

Chocolate Oreo

Rich chocolate sponge filled with Oreo buttercream

Biscoff

Biscoff sponge filled with Biscoff spread and Biscoff buttercream

 

Mocha

Rich chocolate sponge filled with dark chocolate espresso ganache

Caffe Latte

Coffee sponge with white chocolate coffee ganache

Caramel

Caramelised vanilla sponge with caramel buttercream and caramel sauce

Rich Fruit Cake

Brandy soaked fruit cake, contains nuts
